Auctioneer’s Note: A good single-consignor auction with something for everyone. Items moved from the Jamestown home to our beautiful heated facility for ease of viewing & sale. Late breaking . . . For you eclectic baseball fans and collectors, here's an interesting find that will be sold in Thursday's auction as well. The House of David, a Michigan apocalyptic cult fielded an evangelistic barnstorming baseball team in the early part of the 20th century. The always heavily bearded players competed against the likes of Babe Ruth and Rabbit Maranville, as well as the Negro League circuit, during their barnstorming travels.
