Location: Greene County Fairgrounds, 120 Fairground Rd., Xenia, OH. From the center of Xenia, follow N. Detroit Street (US 68) N to left (W) on W. Ankeney Mill Rd. This becomes Fairground Rd at the corporation line.
This will be the second of several auctions to be conducted of items from this historic Cedarville home. Mr. & Mrs. Gillispie have been collectors of a wide range of antiques through the past four decades and employed their collections in decorating their spacious N Main St home. Since Mrs. Gillispie’s death, Mr. Gillispie has decided to sell the home and his extensive collections. This auction will feature an eclectic sample of the items throughout the house.
Furniture & related items includes the following excellent pieces: pier mirror with full turned columns; country French furniture; mahogany Federal-style inlaid sideboard; early walnut tilt-top candle stand with Queen Anne feet; 5-piece bamboo patio set; good selection artwork; good selection large decorative items including urns, pedestals, etc.
